The annual Lions Country Fair was a wonderful celebration again this year. The Museum entered a float in the parade, celebrating Sam McGee – who actually died and was buried here, not in the boiler of the Alice May!! – with a replica of his Whitehorse Cabin. The Village seemed to think we did a good job, because our float won first prize!
It was a great day for the village, for everyone to visit and enjoy the sun together, and to welcome visitors into our community. If you missed it, there’s always next year!
And… if you don’t believe us, the Airdrie Today News thought it was a good day too!
